Qingyuan Hengxin Garden Community
This is not only a playground for children to unleash their energy, but also a living space for community residents to relax and interact
We designed and built a fun-filled outdoor children's activity area for the Qingyuan Hengxin Garden Community. The entire site is approximately 480 square meters. We cleverly utilized the site conditions to create a fun story scene themed around "squirrels, fish, and pine cones," allowing children to immerse themselves in nature and stimulate their imagination while playing.
Zoning Layout and Functions
We designed suitable activity facilities based on the physical and psychological characteristics of children of different ages, ensuring that children aged 3-12 can find play activities that suit them. Community Integration: Considering the needs of parental supervision and neighborly interaction, we included rest platforms and connecting landscapes, making this a vibrant gathering point for the community.
Entering the Forest
This is the entrance to the activity area and a "safety introduction zone" for younger children. It features a low slide, rocking playground, sandpit, and interactive learning wall to help toddlers gradually adapt to outdoor activities under parental supervision, cultivating balance and sensory abilities.
Pine cone Camp
As the core play area, it features a large squirrel-themed climbing net, rotating pine cone trays, and tunnel houses, encouraging children to climb, traverse, and cooperate, developing strength and courage in a simulated forest setting.
Forest Stream Area
Integrating undulating terrain with interactive water features, including climbing walls, trampolines, and pedal waterwheels, this area adds challenge and fun, allowing children to run and jump freely in the undulating "stream," developing coordination and a spirit of adventure.
Supervision and Rest Area Throughout
Each area is equipped with seating and sunshades for parents. A rooftop reading room and viewing platform connect to the play area, allowing parents to relax and read while supervising their children.
