When designing the Ortal Childcare Center, the designers of Mooton Group created a perfect indoor space for children based on the following aspects.
Firstly, the design of this growth center focuses on the free growth of children and is committed to providing various "expressive, communicative, and cognitive languages" for young children in cognition and learning to enable them to learn actively. Secondly, the overall space created is open and conducive to multi-party cooperation. Moreover, children are most liberated in the outdoors. Therefore, natural light is introduced indoors to achieve a perfect transition between the indoor and natural spaces.
High Qualityt Preschool Classroom Setups
Firstly, Ortal Childcare Center has established multiple early childhood classrooms based on different age brackets. Each early learning classroom with a distinct design purpose has configured various functional areas in accordance with its applied functions and aims, and is furnished with relevant nursery setting furniture and indoor playsets, providing diversity of options and possibilities for children of various age groups. Secondly, each daycare classroom adopts an open partition approach without walls, allowing children to freely explore and collaborate. Meanwhile, there is also an open play space in this children's growth center, enabling children to interact and cultivate a spirit of cooperation. Besides, each play and learning space of this children’s growth center, through a unique design layout, allows sunlight to penetrate the classrooms, giving children mental pleasure and fostering a healthy, good, and sunny mindset.
Toddler Classroom
The Toddler Classroom emphasizes the creation of a safe, warm, and inspiring environment. Therefore, in terms of spatial layout, this toddler classroom is divided into different functional areas, such as the play area, reading area, art creation area, etc., to meet the diverse activity needs of toddlers. Additionally, distinct functional zoning helps toddlers develop a good sense of order and rules. Regarding color application, the toddler classroom mostly adopts soft and warm tones, such as light blue, light yellow, etc., which is conducive to creating a comfortable atmosphere. Moreover, the selection of toddler classroom furniture focuses on being suitable for the height and body shape of toddlers, with rounded corners to ensure their safety.
Preschool Classroom
The design concept of the Preschool Classroom focuses on being child-centered, creating a vibrant and interactive learning space that offers more opportunities for communication and cooperation for young children. In terms of spatial planning, a larger collective activity area is usually set up to facilitate the conduct of group activities and collective games. When choosing preschool classroom furniture, high-quality wooden preschool furniture in the original wood color will be used.,which not only allows children to be in a healthy environment but also brings them closer to nature, enables them to perceive the beauty of nature, and stimulates their interest and desire to explore the surrounding world.
Kindergarten Classroom
The design concept of the Kindergarten Classroom emphasizes the integration of learning and entertainment, creating a diversified and imaginative space. Thus, in the spatial layout of this kindergarten classroom, a variety of functional areas have been created, including both independent learning spaces and open collaboration spaces,which provides diverse learning scenarios for young children and meets the individualized needs of children for different learning methods and activities. Additionally, this kindergarten classroom applies a rich and diverse array of decorative elements from nature, including murals, wall-mounted intelligent tree-shaped bookshelves,and so on,creating an imaginative atmosphere that stimulates the creativity and imagination of young children.
Open Play Area
This Open Area is designed into an indoor school activity room and it adopts a nature theme to make an entire design. Besides, plenty of elements from nature are integrated into the wall decoration and the appearance of indoor playground equipment, like the mushroom, hill, and tree. This school activity room space contains a play zone with a wooden playground, some indoor soft play equipment, and some wall game boards, as well as a reading zone that has a model tree, reading platform, etc.
