Located in the Tangtang Riverside Hot Spring Resort in Fogang, this resort boasts superior natural resources. To serve targets families wiith kids better, our client (investment operator)'s core requirement was to create a "super family-themed room" that, based on standard guest rooms, generates significant buzz, offers high average order value, and extends guest stays. This would differentiate the resort from other options in the regional market, increasing non-room revenue and repeat purchase rates.
What the client needed
Conventional "children's corners" or ready-made slide beds on the market struggle to create a truly immersive experience and suffer from drawbacks such as similar styles and low space utilization.
The client needed more than just furniture; they required a custom family room solution integrating a storyline, play functions, safety standards, and spatial aesthetics.
Core requirement was to create a "super family-themed room" that, based on standard guest rooms, generates significant buzz, offers high average order value, and extends guest stays.
Family Room Zoning and Layout
Thematic Narrative and Spatial Design Integration
We used "naval adventure" as the core of the story, with two floors: the upper floor is the "Captain's Lookout," and the lower floor is the "Ship's Cabin Sleeping Area." Through details such as hand-painted lighthouse ocean murals, ship-shaped beds, and wave-patterned soft furnishings, a coherent narrative is achieved. This elevates the family room from simply "staying for one night" to "experiencing an adventure," significantly increasing users' willingness to share on social media.
Integrated Full-Scene Play Functions
Unlike a single slide, MooTon integrated the following into this room: an arc-shaped slide (simulating ocean wave curves), a climbing wall (suitable for children's physical development), and a simulated kitchen and dollhous e (role-playing area). All functional modules are custom-made as a single unit, maximizing the use of ceiling height and floor area.
Safety Standards and Environmentally Friendly Materials
We strictly adhere to: wide, non-slip wooden stairs + thickened soft padding at the bottom of the slide + rounded corners—reducing the risk of children bumping into things and falling, and lessening the safety responsibility burden on operators.
